Air France Blocks Miguna Miguna

Air France, the airline Miguna Miguna was to fly to Kenya with on Monday, blocked him from checking in, saying they had received a “Red Alert” against him from the government of Kenya.

Miguna Miguna communicated the issue in a tweet while at the same time condemning Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta for  blocking him from returning to Kenya

The Law Society of Kenya President Nelson Havi and former Chief Justice Willie Mutunga, who had announced that they would travel to Germany to bring home Miguna never managed to travel, reportedly, due to a delay in visa processing.

“Air France told Court that red alerts if any, against Miguna Miguna were issued by the Government of Kenya to who an order should be addressed. The Government stated that none existed. The Court relied on their representations. Who is fooling us: Air France or the Government?,” Nelson Havi said.

lawyer and activist Miguna Miguna is making the third attempt to return to his country of his birth since 2018 when he was deported by Kenyan authorities.
