A U.S based court in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has sentenced a pedophile, Gregory Dow ( 61), to 15 years, 8 months in prison, and a lifetime of supervised release for defiling children in need of protection care at a children’s home in Kenya between 2013 and 2017.

The pedophile, who had posed as a missionary when he came to Kenya, was also ordered to pay over Sh1.7 Million in restitution for sexually abusing four minors.

Last year June, Gregory Dow pleaded guilty to charges of sexually abusing four girls at an orphanage he and his wife ran in Boito, Bomet County a few years ago.

He was charged with sexually abusing four girls, two of them were 11 years of age, one was 12, and one was 13.

Gregory Dhow evaded arrest from the Kenyan authorities and took off to the US and the Dow Family’s Children’s Home, which was established in 2008, was shut down in 2017.

He was arrested by FBI agents and local police in July 2019.
